Information on the protection of personal data

Frequentis AG, Innovationsstraße 1, 1100 Vienna, Austria ("Frequentis"), operates this training portal. You as a trainee are about to use this training portal under a contract between your employer (or your own contractual partner) and Frequentis.

This data protection statement informs you how the data you will or already have explicitly entered on any page of the training portal, as well as the data that is generated by your use of the training portal, will be processed by Frequentis; we will call this data collectively “Your Data” in the following.

You also are informed about your rights as a concerned person under EU data protection law.

Data handling

Frequentis processes Your Data in order to conduct the trainings with you and document your learning progress. In course of this, certain other data such as your IP address and how long you reside on specific pages and slides will be logged in order to ensure the quality of the training platform.

Our entitlement to process Your Data follows from our contract with our customer (who usually will be your employer) and thus is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Data processing, also within the Frequentis Group

Frequentis may use external IT service providers who process Your Data under observance of applicable data protection laws and a data processing agreement with Frequentis. No processing or sub processing outside of the EU will take place.

Retention and deletion of Your Data

The contact data, your training progress and any generated certifications will be stored by Frequentis for as long as the contract between our customer (your employer or such other entity that concluded the training contract with us) is active and will be deleted once it is no longer active.

Technical data (being your IP address and logs of individual page calls) will be deleted after 30 days.

Your Data will also be deleted if our customer (your employer or such other entity that concluded the training contract with us) directs us to do so.

Your rights as a data subject

If you have any inquiries or concerns about the content of this data protection statement or our processing, you should primarily contact your employer or the entity on whose behalf you accessed the training portal.

Nonetheless and independently, you enjoy the following rights under EU data protection law:

·         A right to be informed by us about the processed personal data, as well as to correction or deletion or to restriction of the processing, right of objection against the processing, right to data transferability.

·         You also have the right of appeal to a data protection supervisory authority under Article 77 GDPR.

·         If the processing is based on your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR or, in the case of sensitive data, on Article 9(2)(a) GDPR without being requested by Frequentis, you also have the right to revoke your consent at any time without prejudice to the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.
